Advanced Beginner Level of Sewing Experience
I call this my hugs & kisses quilt block.  Can't you see the "X" and "O" in one block?  This 9-inch sized quilt block can be alternated with another quilt block to create the message that you want to say with love.  You could try to strip piece this quilt block, but I wouldn't really want to try it with the corner squares being a half inch in size.  I originally drew the quilt block larger, but it didn't look as good, so I went for the finer lines to achieve the result I wanted.  The finer lines in this quilt block really allow for your beautiful quilting to shine.  24 pages with three quilt layouts.
